WJACTV:
It claims to get rid of grime, soap scum, mold and mildew - but will the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner hold up to the test?

The product’s no-scrub claims are attractive to almost everyone. Our tester, Dave, said his shower presents a few problem areas, so he has high hopes for Scrubbing Bubbles.

He said his shower is what he least likes to clean. The shower door usually gets moldy and the edge of the tub gets a lot of soap scum and mold.

The starter kit comes with enough cleaning solution for 40 washes and requires four batteries. We hang the device in the shower and insert the bottle. The spray is supposed to rotate 360 degrees and hit up to 8 feet away, covering all four walls and the tub.

Two weeks later we return, only to find the automatic shower cleaner did not live up to its claims. The part that the cleaner hit was clean, but the spray did not hit every part of the shower as the product said it would.

Overall, the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner earned a thumbs down.
